Preface:
Primary causes of back problems in horses are saddles that do not fit properly.  The
saddle while ridged connects the flexible rider & Horse.  For the most part horses are
tagged with bad behavior but it is truly their way of expressing pain and discomfort.  If
the saddle is perfectly fitted then the ride between the horse and the rider feels like a
dance between two partners.

Discussion:
Saddle fitting is a complicated task and most definitely not an exact science.  This is due
to the fact that every horse, even of the same breed is built different. In addition, horses
change over time with age, conditioning, muscle hypertrophy (muscle building), diet,
and different riding disciplines.
